Born and raised in Los Angeles, I am a Japanese American who has spent my life moving between Tokyo and LA, growing up between cultures that have always felt both familiar and foreign. I attended high school in Dublin, completed my studies in New England, and graduated from Loyola Marymount University back in Los Angeles.

Constant movement meant constantly starting over, new countries, new languages, new communities. And yet, across every city, I met people like me: individuals who had lived between worlds, who spoke in multiple languages and belonged everywhere and nowhere all at once.

That shared experience is what inspired Ashore — a private, invitation-only global community built for those who have lived, studied, or worked across borders. More than an app, it’s a network of exceptional international minds global citizens, students, and professionals who see the world not as separate places, but as one connected landscape.

In a world where it’s easy to speak online but hard to find true connection, Ashore redefines belonging for the globally mobile generation. It’s a space where verified members can meet others who understand what it means to move, adapt, and grow people driven by curiosity, ambition, and cultural fluency.

Whether you’ve just arrived in a new city or returned home after years abroad, Ashore Club helps you rebuild your sense of belonging among those who get it — a new kind of access for the next generation of international individuals shaping the world.
